姓はReadmore Books, 名はDewey. デューイは図書館の分類法の「デューイ図書十進分類法」から名づけられたそうです。
図書館のスタッフ、地域の利用者、みんなに愛され、またデューイもみんなに幸せを振りまきます。
本だけではなく、デューイの動画もあわせて見ると、デューイが図書館内でどんな生活をしていたかがより理解できると思います。

Dewey Readmore Books (aka Dewey) (November 1987-November 29, 2006) was the library cat at the Spencer Public Library in Spencer, Iowa. Dewey was a very friendly cat, who became famous not just in Spencer, but across Iowa, the United States, and internationally. His story, published in 2008, has become a best-selling book and may soon be a feature film.
